The Jeep Wrangler is one of the models that usually receives the most modifications from its owners. So someone installing a V8 in his engine compartment was just a matter of time.

They have already put a V8 engine in the new Jeep Wrangler. This alone may not tell you anything, but the truth is that this model has only just started its commercial career after its debut in November at the Los Angeles Show. Many dreamed of Jeep offering the new 2018 Jeep Wrangler with a V8 engine out of the box. More than anything because Mopar, the accessories division of the brand, already had an official kit so that those interested could replace the blocks of the previous Wrangler with a HEMI V8 engine. But as you know, it has not finally been like that: the new Wrangler will be offered, depending on the market, with a 2.0 turbo with 270 hp, a 3.6 V6 with 285 hp and a 3.0 V6 turbodiesel with about 260 hp.

For almost any driver, those motors will be more than enough. Especially considering that we are facing an off-road with rigid axles, a car that is not designed to offer sports performance. But those users who want the most of the most, already have the possibility of equipping the new Jeep Wrangler with a powerful V8 engine thanks to the American company Bruiser Conversions.

They have not yet defined the price of the conversion, which they can execute themselves at their facilities (in Florida, USA) or send wherever you want in kit form. As a reference, in the case of the previous Wrangler this change came to cost around $ 19,000 (price of the kit without installation or homologation), so we imagine that this will not be very far from that figure. That amount would include absolutely everything necessary to equip the Jeep Wrangler with a V8 engine and maintain all the functions that the car comes from the factory.

Because although the engine does not come from the Mopar catalog, as it is a General Motors LS3 6.2 V8 engine, Bruiser Conversions has been able to connect it to the original 8-speed automatic gearbox and use the factory electronics. In this way, the first 2018 Jeep Wrangler with a V8 engine maintains functions such as cruise control or even the possibility of starting the mechanics remotely. 

The Chrysler Group has just unveiled the first photos of the 2011 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited. The versions include, as main novelties, a completely renovated interior, improved acoustic insulation that reduces noise in the cabin and a removable hood in the same color of the body.

As announced by the manufacturer, the 2011 Jeep Wrangler will feature a redesigned cabin that includes higher quality materials, a new instrument panel, numerous storage spaces, more comfortable door armrests, heated mirrors and larger rear windows. Other novelties of the emblematic off-road vehicle will be the multifunction steering wheel, the connection for USB devices (memories and most mp3 players) and the audio equipment with streaming function via Bluetooth. In the mechanical section, greater acoustic insulation ensures, according to the brand, a significant reduction in noise inside the vehicle.

Externally, the Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited Sahara adopt a more premium image thanks to a new hardtop painted in the body color - which will also incorporate new tones.
