The Jeep Wrangler is a hallmark of identity for the American brand. This model enjoys great popularity, with a legion of fans willing to buy each new generation. It has been on the market for so many years, respecting its philosophy that in many ways it seems like a photocopy of the first. A car born to be able to overcome any obstacle. These are the strengths and some weaknesses in the face of a possible purchase of the Jeep Wrangler.
The aesthetics of the Jeep Wrangler has not lost an iota of personality. Since its origins, nothing has changed. And we refer to the classic Willys, the grandfather of today's Wrangler. A car that then did not refer to Jeep as a brand, but as an off-road vehicle. The company that manufactured it was Willys-Overland Motors, and the Wrangler name did not arrive until the 1980s. Even today it powerfully reminds us of that vehicle designed so that the allied troops could fight in the Second World War. Jeep Wrangler It seems platitude to say that among the strengths of the Jeep Wrangler is its off-road behavior, but we could also say that among the highlights of a sports car is its dynamic behavior. You will be satisfied with the Jeep Wrangler aftermarket headlights, the lighting series range from Jeep XJ to Jeep JL 2018. And it is that, sometimes it happens that we catalog a car by design or by marketing campaign as something that, when tested, does not finish convincing. In this case it is not so at all. The Wrangler was built for what it was built for, and it makes that clear when you get in it. Despite being a car designed for long off-road journeys, and to end up in mud once every two times you leave home, the equipment of the Jeep Wrangler is interesting. It does not lack technology, meeting the demands of a market that increasingly demands more in this section. Of course, everything has a price, and the model is not cheap at first. Although that would go into the weak points… The Jeep Wrangler has different weak points. And it is that, it is a car that by configuration is not good for the road. Likewise, we are talking about a very expensive car to start with, with prices starting at more than 80,000 euros. But perhaps these weak points are logical considering the type of car it is, so we have looked for another one that you will surely take more into account. And they are its few mechanical options. At the end of 2021, Jeep announced that all conventional engines were eliminated and it would only be sold in its plug-in hybrid version. And by that we mean the Jeep Wrangler 4xe, which combines a 272 hp 2.0 Turbo engine with two electric blocks, one with 145 hp and the other with 63 hp. The set delivers a power of 380 hp and a maximum torque of 637 Nm. This version mounts a 17.4 kWh capacity battery, which homologates an electric range of 50 kilometers. In addition, it announces a consumption of 3.5 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 79 g/km. The variant is interesting, but it limits the customer too much when buying a unit.
