More and more data is coming to us about the 2018 Jeep Wrangler. We already knew that it will keep the rigid axles of its suspension. It will also have aluminum chassis, turbo engines, an eight-speed automatic transmission and a V6 diesel ... Now, we have caught your mule.

We've known for a long time that Jeep is planning to release a 2018 Jeep Wrangler. Okay, so we've got some news. And we have caught his mule, as you can see in these images.

The brand would be thinking of offering a 3.0 EcoDiesel V6 engine as an option. This could be associated with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. This gear / engine combination is now available on other models, like the Jeep Grand Cherokee. What is not yet known is whether this engine will be available at launch.

The new Jeep Wrangler has been talked about for a long time. There are not many data on what it will be like, but there is one that will make many followers of the legendary off-roader happy. Most of the Jeep owner would like to upgrade the lighting system to Jeep Wrangler led headlights instead of the halogen lights. And, although there was a time when it was valued to change the suspension that models such as the Jeep Wrangler X 2015 that were presented at the 2014 Paris Motor Show (the one in the photo) carry, it finally seems that the idea has been discarded and which will keep your axles rigid.

Rigid axles both front and rear, coupled with a powerful gearbox, have always been two of the strengths of the Wrangler range and on which its extensive off-road qualities were based. There are rgb halo headlight Jeep Wrangler available for offroad use. For this reason, there were many who regretted that the brand was even considering modifying them and moving to an independent axle suspension.

According to a report published by Automotive News, that will not be the case and the new Jeep Wrangler will keep intact the suspension that has provided drivers so much fun for decades.

Jeep is still finishing defining what the new generation of the 2018 Wrangler will look like, but it looks like it will have an aluminum chassis, turbo engines and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
